Urban Decay All Nighter Concealer | Swatch & Review/Comparisons – Light Warm/NC15/NC20

A very hyped new release in the makeup world is the Urban Decay All Nighter Concealer – the companion product to their All Nighter Foundation! I didn’t particularly like the foundation but the concealer has received rave reviews on YouTube and Instagram and comparisons to the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer…. so you better believe when I got to choose some makeup products from the US for my Christmas and Birthday gifts for 2017 I added this in!

I absolutely love the packaging – it is a smaller version of the foundation and really creative and cute.

The concealer has a standard doe foot applicator and long wand – really easy to apply and distribute product easily under the eyes/specifically onto blemishes.

I chose the shade ‘Light Warm’ after researching a lot of different swatches. I’m NC15 at my palest and roughly NC20 at the moment and these days I prefer to not highlight under my eyes – so I got this to try and match to my skin tone.

Here’s Light Warm swatched against two that seem to match my usual foundation at NC15 quite well – Bare Minerals BareSkin in Fair in the middle and Colourpop Light Neutral 15.

I thought it also best to share against a few different shades of foundation – we’ve got the Too Faced Peach Perfect Foundation in Vanilla (which is a tad too light for me with my tan), the Stila Stay All Day Foundation in Bare 1 (a decent match when I’m fair) and the Huda Beauty Foundation in shade 150G (which looks quite yellow and is probably a teeny bit too dark for me – but I make it work!).

I’ve been using this for around 4 weeks now and I actually really love it. The stopper is that good that barely any product comes out when you pull out the wand – but it’s just the perfect amount for one eye. It dries incredibly quickly – so I’d recommend to do one eye at a time. I like to add just enough under each eye and blend in with my beautyblender. I have dark veins under my eyes (thanks genetics) and need to then add the tiniest bit on top right in my inner corner. A quick set with powder and you’re done for the day!

The shade match for me is pretty good – I used this when my tan was a lot stronger and it highlighted under my eyes – now my tan has faded about 80% and it’s still slightly light under my eyes – so I definitely picked a good shade match! I’m not sure if/when this will be available for purchase in Australia at Mecca Maxima – I’ll update this post if I find out! (VERY Exciting Update – It will be available in Australia on February 27th and retailing for $46 AUD) I 100% recommend this concealer – it doesn’t crease or settle badly into my fine lines, is the fullest coverage I’ve found in a concealer and lasts perfectly all day. Light Warm in the Urban Decay All Nighter Concealer is the perfect match for an NC15 if you’re not wanting to highlight under the eyes – if you are, Fair Neutral seems to be a good option!

I wholeheartedly believe it is worth the hype! It’s a little pricey but for a good concealer…! Definitely recommend checking it out at Mecca at the end of the month!

It’s definitely a little bit pricey! But I’ve spent more on concealers I don’t love anywhere near as much – so worth it!

I’ve heard mixed things about this concealer so it’s really great that you love it! I’ve had the UD Naked skin concealer before and didn’t like it so I actually returned it! I feel like their shades can be a bit off!

The Naked Skin is definitely a lot lighter in coverage! I have it in Fair Neutral right now but barely touch it because I don’t like highlighting under my eyes anymore! I think this concealer is pretty fab – definitely grab a sample at the least!

Love the sleek packaging of this! Urban Decay are always on the ball with their packaging! I’m excited to try out this waterproof formula for myself and see if it lives up to the name!

Isn’t it gorgeous! I love the effect it gives. I haven’t tested it as being waterproof yet – definitely something on the agenda!

Urban Decay has some amazing products, this concealer sounds so good. I am okay with it drying quickly and applying it to one point at a time if the formula is good. Will check this one out.

It’s absolutely worth the extra work needed! I can be very lazy and rushed of a morning but this is well worth it!
