Two Night Moisturisers for Dry Skin

It’s no secret around these parts that my skin can be quite dry. Luckily, I’ve taken good care of my skin recently and it’s closer to normal now, however it still is quite dehydrated at times. Because of my dry skin, I’ve discovered two amazing night moisturisers that you definitely should check out!

The Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar Dry* is a refreshing and refining moisturiser. The scent reminds me slightly of Mac’s Fix +, refreshing but not overly scented, so good for people with sensitive skin/who are sensitive to scents in skincare. It’s a lightweight formula that soothes and cools the skin. It absorbs fairly quickly into the skin, and refreshes it. I tend to use it overnight because it can ‘ball up’ when I pair it with primer/foundation. It’s specially formulated for drier skintypes as compared to the original Hope in a Jar moisturiser, and I definitely recommend it – I’m almost onto my second jar!

The Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask is a super intense, thick hydrating moisturiser that gives the skin an added boost of hydration overnight. It’s the type of moisturiser/mask that you apply before bed and then have to wipe residue off in the morning – so thick and hydrating that it doesn’t completely sink in. It definitely has more of a scent to it but hasn’t irritated my skin, I use this whenever my skin is feeling parched and it gives it a nice boost overnight!

These are two products I absolutely swear by – they’ve definitely helped my skin improve tenfold over the last few months!

I actually have combo skin and I still love both of these products. I am also almost done my Hope in a Jar Dry Bottle and I will definitely be repurchasing it! It’s an awesome night time moisturiser. I have been using the Origins for a few years now and I have gone through a million tubes! I always bring it with me to wear on long-haul flights because you can’t notice it too much on the skin and it works so well.
