I am so painfully overdue for a handbag clearout that it is a little bit ridiculous. I have three bags that I use on a consistent basis – a bigger style handbag for the gym, a medium sized one I carry daily and a smaller sized bag for when I only need to have a couple of things with me. In amongst the receipts and headphones and other random bits floating around – there was a LOT of beauty products ! So I thought it was time to share with you what I’ve been carrying around and what I’m keeping !
Firstly – I ALWAYS keep a little packet of tissues with me no matter the handbag. I’m unfortunately quite prone to a nosebleed (I hate my body sometimes!) so they always switch between bags. Next we’ve got the makeup bags I keep my products in – there’s a larger sized bag not featured in this shot because it’s currently getting a wash! I have a smaller Kikki K cat bag as well as my LV Mini Pochette which tends to carry lip products/things that won’t mark the insides. 
The lip products… this is from the three bags and I know it looks a little ridiculous. You’d usually find a few more lipbalms than this however I’ve recently just finished up two! We’ve naturally got a plethora of nude lip products – an Essence lip liner (a tried and true favourite) as well as gloss, a tinted Tarte balm and bullet lipsticks. As you can tell I haven’t used a liquid lipstick in a while – definitely something I need to start doing again soon. 
The things that go between every bag – aka the items that live in the Kikki K cat bag. We’ve got hand sanitiser (non-negotiable), a nail file (I always need one if I don’t have one!) a Nip + Fab pimple treatment (sadly necessary over the last couple of weeks!), an Urban Decay mattifying powder and brush and my Say it with Polish customised mirror – because I’m fancy! These are things I always find I’m reaching for so always have with me. Usually though with my smaller shoulder bag I’ll have just one or two of the items – I don’t usually use that bag all day. 
These are the “why are they in here?” products that surely everyone has… a Tarte highlighter that I thought I lost months ago, a Vick’s inhaled from when I was sick last month (amazing stuff!), an expired eczema treatment (I am a mess) and a Kat Von D spray perfume – I haven’t discussed the whole KvD controversy on here but let’s just say I’m looking for a new one to keep in my bag. 
Other random bits that I keep in my larger (not shown) makeup bag include Lacto-Free tablets (I’m a lactose intolerant person in very deep denial and these help so much!), sanitary items (because I’m female, duh) and Mac Fix + (which is so good for over makeup or just a spritz to wake you up!)
And lastly, the bits that live in my gym bag. My baby Klorane Dry Shampoo (because sweaty hair isn’t cute), a random little cat mirror (to make sure I’m applying the dry shampoo properly and not leaving heaps of marks!) and hand cream (because weights make my hands all gross). And that’s that! Some of these bits definitely need to go (lip products, expired cream and highlight) and the rest is going to be streamlined in a way that makes much more sense! Am I the only crazy handbag hoarder?
Love your hand bag essentials! I always seem to end up with so many lipsticks in my hand bag too haha then I wonder where they all are! I love the mini Fix+ spray, I need to get one for my handbag!

Are you sneakily pulling a peace sign in the reflection of the UD powder? Moving on, I now feel totally okay with having 5 lipsticks in my one handbag…I feel like I am not completely failing at life if we are in the same messy boat 😛 I think I might need to purchase a mini Fix+ for refreshing!!

Hahaha no – it’s just me taking the photo… I’d hoped nobody caught that, lighting is such a pain in the winter months ! We are now both equally failing at life with the amount of lip products we carry – but who knows what a situation might require?

I have a box permanently in my car and in basically every room of my house, but somehow there are never any close by when I need them!
I get nosebleeds a lot too AND use the Vicks Inhaler! Maybe that’s what causes nosebleeds? Who knows. Well done on the clear out!

I always carry tissues as well, because I’m always sneezing on the bus with people’s perfumes! I usually carry a lipstick, mini mirror, lip balm, and a rollerball perfume.

Tissues and fem hygiene prods are a MUST ALWAYS. While you may get spontaneous nose bleeds, I get spontaneous (vvv unexpected) other bleeds… Haha tmi?? Just had to lmao. Anyway yaas S&G Handmaid – also a must for me!

My big one is movie tickets. I’m so bad at throwing them away when I’m supposed too. And it’s also not unusual for me to have a mountain of lip products in there too.
Oh my gosh yes! I found a good few movie tickets and movie receipts in my bag(s)! Lip products… it’s like they multiply in my bag!
