In my recent Tarte order (where I got the Rainforest of the Sea foundation I reviewed a few days ago) I needed to spend a certain amount in order to avoid paying shipping… The price worked out to roughly what shipping would cost anyway, so I thought why not purchase something I wasn’t planning on? (bad logic, Ebony). Tarte have recently released their new Pro Eyeshadow & Highlight/Contour palettes and whilst I knew I’d never use the full sized ones enough, the ‘To Go’ palettes looked perfect for what I was after and I finally decided on the Pro To Go Eyeshadow palette.
This cute travel sized packaging comes in rubber-esque cardboard packaging and on the inside has a small mirror as well as six eyehsadows – four normal eyeshadows and two of the newer metallic formulas. The gold that encases the individual eyeshadows is SO hard to photograph, so I apologise! (I spent ten minutes trying and then completely gave up.)
Shades Bottom – Top: Drive, Stylin, Boss, Hype, Crisp, Dominate.
How crazy is the pigmentation? Honestly from the eyeshadows in the pan I was expecting nowhere near the quality that came out – I am so impressed! This palette is perfect for me – neutral matte shades as well as three gorgeous shimmer shades that will create a bunch of wearable, daytime looks as well as ones more suitable for nights out! The palette is of exceptional quality, the eyeshadows blend like an absolute dream – honestly I couldn’t be happier with this palette than if I’d made it myself!
If you’re to buy one item from Tarte – make sure it’s the Pro To Go Eyeshadow palette, you won’t be disappointed!
HOLY MOLY THE PIGMENTATION! I was NOT expecting that by looking at the pans! Dominate looks like my kind of shade!
