Hello again friends! So excited to share with you some reviews of the products I’ve been trialling over the last few weeks. I’ve been pretty inconsistent with my posting and my makeup wearing recently, so for now I’m going to stop with these posts, but share more of what I’ve been testing over on Instagram.
DB Cosmetics Keep it Neutral Palette* – I have become such a fan of this palette! I’m not sure if I’ve tried DB’s eyeshadows before but I am beyond impressed with the quality for the price – see below for swatches!
Sephora Collection Delicate Glow Illuminator – Absolutely love this beauty! It’s a little darker than I would usually wear, but builds to the prettiest metallic highlight. I spent a long time looking for this and am so happy to have it in my collection – beautiful for an all-over glow without makeup or the finishing touch to a full face.
Mary Kay Volumising Brow Tint in Blonde*- The only thing I don’t like about this is the fact that SO much product comes out on the brush that you need to wipe it before using – I definitely think the stopper needs to be fixed ever so slightly. That being said, I am such a fan of how this adds a subtle amount of volume and tint to my eyebrows. It’s often the only product that I use in them and it’s something I reach for almost daily now.
Real Techniques Complexion Sponge* – I wish I loved this, but I have to say I’m a BeautyBlender girl! I just found this wasn’t as soft and bouncy and I just couldn’t make it work for me.
Mecca Cosmetica Illuminating Primer – A big fan of this for no makeup days. I don’t notice much of a difference when I use it underneath makeup, but when I use it on top of moisturiser it has a lasting glow on the skin all day.
Nars Soft Matte Concealer in Vanilla – A product that works for so many people, but not me. I tried so many different ways of applying this and blending it into my skin but I couldn’t make it work. I am still obsessed with the Creamy Concealer and will be purchasing that instead.
Smashbox Photo Finish Eye Primer*- A good eye primer, but just not the type I like. I work better with a lightly tinted primer, whereas this was clear with almost a silicone base. I have used it multiple times, but it’s just not the formula or the applicator that I’m used to and I’ll be passing this onto a friend.
And of course, some swatches for you!

Dang! Those DB swatches look amazing! I’ve had my eye on that palette for a while and I might pick it up
