My big skincare splurge always happens at the time of the Priceline 40% off skincare sale time – it’s the perfect time for me to stock up for the next six months with some staples! The last sale I went a little bit crazy at, so this one was relatively much more controlled – for me anyway!
Firstly, I picked up travel sizes of the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and Nivea Irresistible Smooth Body Lotion to take with me on my upcoming cruise. Also for the cruise, I picked up some of the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes because they’re super refreshing.
I picked up another few of the La-Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + because both myself and my partner use and love them! And another repeat purchase, the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Sheet Masks which I always pick up during these sales. I’m almost in need of a new eye cream and have been eyeing off the Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream for the longest time so used this opportunity to get it a bit cheaper! I also grabbed the L’Oreal Pure Clay Mask because every blogger seems to be raving about them and I want to see if they truly work!
Biore Pore Strips are some of my favourites and something myself and my partner regularly use, so I picked up three versions – their Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips because I’ve been wanting to try that variety for months and it’s the first time I’ve seen them in store; the Ultra Deep Cleansing variety because they work the best, and the Deep Cleansing Nose & Face variety so I can use the face strips on my chin where I need them desperately!
I also went a little toner crazy… I’ve been seeing both the Avene Cleanance Mat Mattifying Toner & La-Roche Posay Serozinc Toner all over Instagram for months so I picked up those to try in my t-zone, as well as the Bioderma Sensiblio Tonique Moisturising Toner which I was originally sent from their PR company but have fallen in love with, and almost finished!
For me, this is fairly self controlled – I usually buy a lot more, but I went with products I knew and loved, and ones I’ve been eyeing off for quite a while!
Recommendation wise, I’m going to list a few products below that I love with my combination skin (oily t-zone, dryish cheeks) that I’d recommend trying out! The Priceline sale is still on tomorrow, and is available online from their website.
