A few weeks ago I arrived home from work to a gorgeously wrapped parcel on my doorstep. It was completely unexpected too, which is when you know something will be fantastic! Inside were a few treats from the newly released in Australia Natura Siberica! The products were perfectly customised to my needs, it’s like they had a crystal ball into what I need and love!
Natura Siberica products are certified organic and available in Chemist Warehouse stores throughout Australia – so you know they’re affordable! There are 26 products in the range and they have an abundance of products from hair, to body care, hand creams, soaps and bath salts! I received their Oblepikha Body Butter, Body Scrub and Hair Oil for trial, and loved them so much that I immediately knew I’d be reviewing them for you guys!
The Oblepikha Body Scrub* is a fantastic body exfoliant. Whilst I have absolutely no idea how to pronounce its name, it doesn’t detract from the product itself! It contains Altai sea buckthorn oil to nourish skin, honey to increase elasticity and sage extract to eliminate toxins. In all honesty, I’m not a fan of the scent, I don’t like honey – the taste, texture or smell. This is a small issue for me, but once the product has been used and washed away the scent disappears which is fine with me! The particles are the right amount of scrubby where they remove dead skin cells, but don’t feel like they’re going to scratch your skin – there’s a fine line! My skin feels soft after use and doesn’t appear dry as quickly – which is perfect for me! It comes in a 300ml jar and retails for $19.99.
The Oblepikha Body Butter* perfectly compliments the scrub! I use this all over my body after showering and it sinks in perfectly overnight! I prefer the scent of this, it’s slightly sweeter and I think I detect a hint of citrus? Honestly, I have no idea because I am the worst at describing scents! It’s not your thick body butter feeling (think the ones from the Body Shop) but a lighter, almost creamy consistency. It honestly reminds me of a slightly harder butter icing, and I relaly like it because it feels super lightweight, and it doesn’t go on slimy or greasy – perfect for any time of the day when your skin is feeling/looking dry! It too comes in a 300ml jar, and retails for $22.99.
For me, the winner is definitely the Oblepikha Complex of Oils for Damaged Hair*. This 50ml dropper is the giver of life! It is intended to repair damaged hair structure, nourish and hydrate, as well as provide protection against heat styling. Whilst I don’t believe that anything can repair my damaged hair other than it growing completely out, this oil has been a game changer to my routine. A few drops of this run through my hair makes the world of difference. I experimented and used it on one half of my hair and not the other and really noticed it. When I use it, my hair has less frizz, feels softer at the ends and tends to style better, holding the style for longer. Whilst nothing can redeem the shine in my hair, this makes it feel just that little bit nicer, and look a whole lot healthier which I need!
While I’ve only tried three products from the brand, my overall experience is definitely positive! I’d wholeheartedly recommend these products (although not if you weren’t a fan of honey!) and I definitely want to try more from their range in the near future!
these sound yummy! It’s a shame i don’t have a chemist warehouse close by…
