I have been asked a few times over the last couple of years about what supplements I take on a regular basis. I’ve been quite open and honest about my health and fitness on social media in the past and this is another addition to that.
Before I share, a friendly reminder – you should consult your doctor before deciding on any vitamins or supplements. Only they can tell you what you need for your body.
B12 – I’ve been tested in the past as being low in B12. A course of injections has corrected it and I’ve stayed fairly stable, but I take a B12 supplement a few times a week as my natural diet isn’t super high on it. It’s important for me to do so because my B12 levels really effect my overall energy levels and mental health.
Iron – anaemia sucks, but an iron infusion last year helped a LOT with my painfully low natural iron levels. I take iron on mornings where I know I didn’t have a lot of it naturally the day before, so 2-4 times a week.
Hair, Skin & Nails – I’ve taken these off and on for years now. I was initially advised to try these when recovering from glandular fever as I lost over half my hair during that time. I don’t take these as consistently as I should, but I reap the benefits when I do.
Go Healthy Vision Protect & Screen Time iProtect* – these are newer to my routine that I was sent from the brand a couple of months back. I have some issues with my vision (glasses life!) and work in an office-based role and spend a lot of my life on computers/phones. Anything that I can do to help aide my vision and protect it from worsening is something healthily encouraged! I haven’t noticed a dramatic difference since starting these, but my eyes don’t get as tired as quickly and that’s a huge win.
I do take other things from time to time such as protein powders and magnesium supplements when I’ve had a heavy lifting workout, but these are the supplements I aim to use daily – even if it’s more often than not only a few times a week!
These all sound really interesting! I used to take hair skin and nails tablets for a while, before I just forgot haha I am so bad at remembering to take vitamins regularly!

Thanks lovely ! I can definitely be very bad at remembering to take them… maybe one day!
I swear by hair, skin and nails vitamins, or more accurately the Silicea Gel that’s for hair skin and nails. It’s so good!
