The happiest of Monday’s to you all! I’ve got a LOT to catch you all up on – so let’s get into it!
First off – the wedding was beautiful! I travelled to Queensland the weekend before last for my uncle’s wedding and the ceremony and location were absolutely beautiful! They held the wedding at a private accomodation site on the Sunshine Coast and the views were absolutely breathtaking – and the weather dang warm! That took a little getting used to! The ceremony itself was absolutely beautiful – I’ve never witnessed anything like it, it was such a celebration of love and friendship and unsurprisingly I cried a lot – not looking forward to seeing the family wedding photos after that! The weekend itself was wonderful – I got to FINALLY meet the beautiful Tash which was exactly how I’d imagined it going, and it was great to see a whole bunch of my family!
Secondly – I finally got my license! Something you guys may have not known is until this last Monday, I never was able to legally drive by myself! Tests and assessments are one of my biggest anxiety triggers and something I avoid as much as possible (uni has been fun!) and it took me forever to go for the test needed before my P’s. This time around, I booked the test in advance for the first possible appointment date and time that I could do it and barely told a soul – only my Dad (for obvious reasons such as he had to get the car there) my driving instructor (again, obvious reasons) and my gorgeous friend Patricia, because I was chatting to her when I booked it and I needed someone to vent to! I didn’t even tell my partner – I just didn’t want the pressure of people knowing and wishing me luck. And strangely enough – passed first go! I was shaking terribly (thankfully the guy didn’t notice!) and was incredibly nervous but I did it, and have been driving all week and love it! It was such a big deal for me to actually go for my license and clearly I couldn’t be happier with the result!
Above is what I got myself for it – the second piece of Louis Vuitton I mentioned in this shopping haul here! This was the personal goal I had – and it was well worth the wait! It has little clips inside which keeps the keys completely organised – and for someone who is paranoid everytime she leaves the house about keys it’s absolutely perfect! Couldn’t be happier with this little purchase. Said gorgeous friend Patricia also ordered & sent me a gift because she knew what a big deal it was for me to go for my license (her words, not mine!) and damn well got me a necklace with my cat on it! It’s an actual picture of Gyps, and it couldn’t have been a better chosen or more perfect gift for me – and you better believe I got a little teary when I opened it! I’ve added Patricia’s graphic design business link here – she didn’t ask for this but god damn she’s talented and deserves a shoutout or ten for being a killer friend!
Guess who’s back at the gym? It’s been a busy few weeks without it, and in that time my membership lapsed – soooo let’s just say I’m back, I’m motivated and I’m committed! I’m doing a 12 week challenge with Tash and I’m completely motivated to make some changes – look out for a post later this week with more information + one of my regular workouts to share with you all! I started back last week and with only three lighter sessions I’m still incredibly sore – bring it on!
I’m back at my old job? For a few days later this week I’ll be helping out at my old job with some busy days ahead! I was only thinking how much I miss the place (other than the reason that made me leave) and was a little shocked to have a missed call from my old boss Tuesday – but I can’t wait! If it leads to more that’s great, but if it doesn’t then I’m not super mad about it. I’m looking forward to working, to earning a little more play money and just being a bit more social for a few days!
That’s actually it for me this week – this girl is off to weigh herself, pick her partner up from the airport, buy a whole bunch of car stuff and have generally an incredibly hectic week but I can’t wait! Have an amazing two weeks ahead everyone – I hope you love the content I have planned!
