Happy end of February! Another month that’s been a mixed bag, and another of not wearing toooo much makeup. Nonetheless I have a few makeup favourites to share with you from the month so let’s get into it! (Please forgive me with the lighting in the below image, I’m struggling with a new setup and lack of natural lighting here right now!)
Smashbox Always On Metallic Matte Lipstick in XO VLADA* – I have a full review of this liquid lipstick range linked here – unsurprisingly from my rave review this has carried itself into my favourites for the month!
Huda Beauty Liquid Lipstick in Sugar Mama* – a product you’ll be reading about more in Wednesday’s post, this is another lip product that’s impressed me this last month. It has a really thin and powerful formula that feels so comfortable on the lips and wears quite nicely – I am very impressed!
Essence Lip Liner in In The Nude – this lip liner has absolutely made the rounds in the beauty community and it has made its way into numerous posts of mine in the past. It is the product I’ve been reaching for under both of these liquid lipsticks this past month to give a sharper line to my lip and I’ve fallen back in love with it.
Givenchy Beauty Noir Interdit Mascara* – a product I forgot I had in my drawer, I finally tested out this mascara in the last few days of the month and have been incredibly impressed. What’s unique about this product is the wand – it bends to a 90 degree angle making it effortlessly easy to reach all of your eyelashes! While I did initially struggle to understand how to properly use the brush I’ve become enamoured with how it makes my eyelashes look and if you’ve got a little bit of extra cash to burn I highly recommend!
W7 Cosmetics Glowcomotion Highlighter* – a rediscovered product in my collection this past month. I’ve been really wanting to use and feature more affordable makeup products here and on Instagram and I have fallen back in love with this highlighter. The formula is beautiful and pigmented and this is quite possibly better than some of the pricier highlighters in my collection!
Mecca Max Hot Tips Nail Polish in Molten Magic – a nail polish shade that is guaranteed to get me at least one compliment out in public, I’ve used this on my nails exclusively this month and have fallen back in love with the pigmented and easy to use formula. Whilst it definitely still chips on my nails it lasts a lot better than other formulas that I’ve tried and I still definitely recommend you adding this to your collection!
