I feel like it’s an apt end to February to give you guys a review of the February Bellabox for 2016. Usually on a Monday I’d give you my Monday Musings post, but it’s the 29th of February and that doesn’t come around all that often, so I thought I’d shake things up a bit!
I think my favourite Bellabox to date is definitely this February box! I’ve been subscribed periodically since 2012 and love the little box of treats delivered to my door. The box costs $17.95 a month including delivery however there are often discount codes to make your box cheaper (including one below!)
February’s theme is ‘Get Ready With Me’ which to me means products to get you ready for the day, ready for a night out or ready for bed! (My personal favourite)
The first item was too big to fit in the blue box, and is a full sized Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy Body Wash. The Physiogel brand is amazing for dry and sensitive skin, I’ve used it before and have been meaning to purchase this myself so I’m happy to see this addition! (Retails for $11.95 and is available from Priceline and Amcal.)
Next are two little samples.
The first is a ModelCo Double Sided Facial Wipe. It’s a single wipe which is perfect to slip in a handbag for a night out – so you can wipe all the makeup off and head straight to bed! I’ve tried these before and don’t mind them! (Pack of 25 retails for $7.95, available from Priceline and online)
The next is a sachet of Dermal Therapy Platinum Heel Balm. TMI moment but I have super dry heels/feet and am really happy to see this! I tried it straight away and saw a difference overnight – this would be perfect to use 1-2 days before a big event to prepare your feet for the torture of high heels! (Full size retails for $13.95 from pharmacies)
Next is a Designer Brands Black Eyeliner. I’m no eyeliner whizz, but I’ve used this product before and found it really creamy, and would be perfect for a smokey eye on a night out! (Retails for $7.95, available from chemists and online)
Next is the item everyone receives this month – two little Avon Lipstick samples. These are so miniature and so adorable!! They are the perfect size to just pop in a pouch to reapply during a night out. I’ve only tested the nude one for around an hour, but it felt really comfortable on my lips. (Full size retails for $22, available online)
Next is a 7.5ml sample of Rebelle by Rihanna. Until I opened the box I had no idea Rihanna had a perfume, but I’m loving the scent! The little bottle is super cute too. I’m really bad at describing scents, so let me just say I like this one!
I’m super happy with this month’s Bellabox, they’re all products that I’ll get use out of – and I’ve already purchased a full sized heel balm!
Now I know what you’re all waiting for – the winner of the 3 month Bellabox subscription from my Instagram giveaway! Congratulations to @naysplace you’re the lucky one! Please DM me on Instagram or email me with your email address and full name and I’ll get the ball rolling for your subscription!
I also have a discount to make your first box $10! Click the link here to go to the Bellabox signup page and get your first one cheaper! In March, each member gets an item from Benefit Cosmetics – so I’d be signing up if I were you!
I do love Bella Box. I’ve been on and off myself but off at the moment due to saving but I just won a 3 month subscription to their new Bella Box Baby so super excited to see what is inside those ones!
