Current Favourites | September 2019

Hello hello, it’s been a hot minute since I shared a favourites post on the blog! I’ve been sharing a lot more of the makeup I’m using and enjoying on both Instagram and in my beauty rotation posts here, but I thought it’s about time I share with you the standout products from the last little while.

Anastasia Dipbrow Gel – I am absolutely enamoured by this new eyebrow product. It fills in, tints and sets my brows in place all day in a convenient brush – it takes me all of 30 seconds to do both eyebrows and they look perfectly natural. My shade Taupe is the same as my shade in their pencil and I just am obsessed with this. Too easy to use!
Benefit They’re Real Mascara – it’s been a long time since I used this mascara, and I have to say I’m extremely impressed! It lengthens my lashes and it holds their curl all day. A very reliable, non-smudging mascara.
Australis Makeup Finishing Spritz Matte – I have become absolutely obsessed with this recently. It does have a strong fragrance which may not suit everybody, but it is incredibly refreshing and helps set my makeup in place all day. I do definitely notice a difference in how long my makeup stays oil-free around my nose when I use this!
Bobbi Brown Corrector – I hadn’t used this guy for some time until recently, but I’ve remembered just how much I love it. It has a light peach tint (I use the shade Light Bisque) and helps to counteract dark circles and brighten ever so slightly under the eye. It doesn’t settle deeply into the lines under my eyes and I really love how products layer on top.
Benefit Rockateur Blush* – I’ll admit I had this sitting in my drawer untouched for months – but I haven’t been able to put it down since I started using it! A really lovely rose-gold blush, used with a light hand it creates a beautiful and natural flush to the cheeks. It has a quite glittery overspray, but is a more satin glow on the cheeks. I am in love!
Australis GRL BOSS Lipstick – I can’t believe that I love a matte lipstick, but here we are! A beautiful nude shade, this matte formula is comfortable and lasts well on the lips. It does settle into my lines a little, but is really comfortable to wear and doesn’t feel drying. I also love the packaging – it’s a magnetic click closure which is super fun to play with!
