It’s been another few weeks of testing out more of the products in my collection. I’ve collected a decent little pile of products that’ll go into a blog sale shortly, and discovered some great favourites that I’ll be sharing with you very soon!
Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette – I used to absolutely love this palette, but bringing it back out of my drawers has made me realise it doesn’t suit my makeup tastes anymore. With work I wear a lot of neutral colours (and I rarely wear more than mascara on a weekend) and this palette, while beautiful, is too warm-toned for me to reach for regularly.
NYX Matte Finish Spray* – I recently used up my trusty CoverFX spray and have been using this since and I really like it! It works well to settle down my makeup for the day and I do notice my makeup staying matte for longer. A really good little product!
Napoleon Hydrating Primer* – this one feels like a rich and hydrating moisturiser and I really like using it. It leaves my skin with a nice tacky base for foundation and hydrated all day. I tend to wear a matte and long wearing base so this works really well.
Benefit Rockateur Blush* – I cannot believe it took me so long to finally try this cult product, and I haven’t been able to put it down since. It is a beautiful shade adding a healthy flush of colour to the cheeks and it lasts all day without emphasising any texture.
Benefit Hoola Lite* – and finally, a Hoola shade I can use! The traditional Hoola didn’t work for me at all, but this one is the perfect bronzer shade for fair skin. It’s a neutral brown and incredibly flattering.
Natasha Denona Highlighter in 01– a beautiful highlighter, I just have so many ones in similar shades that means I will be passing this one on. However it is absolutely a long wearing and highlighter shade which I definitely recommend purchasing if you’re in the market for a new highlight for fair skin.
