It was a beautiful day when I was able to physically walk into a Bath and Body Works store! I received some amazing news shortly before I walked in, so I was a little loose on the spending money situation! The store was a lot smaller than the American stores I’ve seen from YouTube and the scent/product selection not quite as large, but that’s for obvious reasons – they’re new to the Australian market, their products are heavy and would therefore be expensive to import and the store size also factors into that! There were four incredibly friendly staff members that I recall seeing, each clearly enjoying their job and being super helpful with any questions!
I thought I’d share with you guys in detail the products I picked up and the pricing!
Vanilla Bean Noel 3 Wick Candle – at $40, this was one expensive candle! They are $40 each or 2 for $60 and there are often deals on – whilst I was in store there was a buy two get two free on the Holiday range, and I’ve seen so many more advertised since I’ve been. I love Vanilla Bean Noel, as you’ll tell from this blog post – so I had to stock up!
Vanilla Bean Noel Sparkling Snowflake Scrub – at $30 this is probably a little more than I’d usually spend on a body scrub, but having imported one from Bath & Body Works US before I know that they’re a great scrub! Plus, VBN…
Merry Berry Christmas Shower Gel – this was one of the items I received free as part of the promotion, but this would normally set me back $24, which isn’t the most expensive shower gel I’ve used but it is pricey! I picked this particular bottle because of the cute ribbon (I couldn’t help myself!) and the scent seems really nice!
Vanilla Bean Noel Deep Cleansing Soap – this was another item I received free due to the promotion, but would normally set me back $12 – which is a fair price for a decent hand soap! It was the last one in the store and honestly, I couldn’t resist!
Warm Vanilla Sugar Bubble Bath – Warm Vanilla Sugar is one of my favourite permanent Bath & Body Works scents – the scent is exactly as the name suggests! Whilst the file is corrupted and I can’t share the image with you, trust me that this is gorgeous! It set me back $28, which is more than I’d usually spend on one single bath products – but good news made me too happy to care!
I also picked up some miniature items – some of those I’ve put away as little gifts for friends and family, but I’ve kept this Vanilla Bean Noel Fragrance Mist for myself! They range in price between $10-$12 for travel sized lotions, shower gels and scents – it’s expensive, but the novelty is there!
There were also their favourite products like their wallflowers (around $20 from memory) and Pocketbac hand sanitisers (from memory around the $5-$10 mark)
Overall, I loved the store and the experience! It smelt great, the staff were great and I got the products that I wanted ! The prices are definitely more than the US prices – but when you factor in conversion, shipping, higher wages – the pricing is pretty good! I can’t wait for my next trip!
