August Empties | 2016

Another month over, another basket of empty products for me to share with you and review! This month I didn’t finish too much – reason probably being I started so many new products and discarded others – that’s the task for September, to start really going through everything I own and finishing it/throwing it out!

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes – a constant repeat in my empties, I love these!
Bioderma Crealine Micellar Water – I used this little travel size while I was away recently, perfect for two nights! A really good makeup remover.
Kmart Cotton Rounds – I used up 3 100 round packets this month, I’m such a huge fan and really need to pick up more asap!

Benefit Ka-Brow Sample Shades 1 & 2 – really happy to have used this, shade 2 is definitely my shade and I’ll be slowly repurchasing all the Benefit Brow products in my correct shade! (I was sent Shade 3 as a PR sample but it’s slightly too warm for me)
Mac Mineralise Skin Finish Natural – Light– this had a sad demise, I purchased it at duty-free when I went away in January, and sadly went to start using it after my recent move to find it was all smashed! I had to get rid of the loose powder in the container and use the powder remaining in the pan, such a waste of money!
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze – I used to use this every day before I started really experimenting and learning how to use eyeshadow, so this has dried out in my drawer! I really am a huge fan of this shade though, perfect for everyday and it makes my blue eyes pop!
Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray – whilst this doesn’t make me stay oil-free all day, I really notice a difference when I’m not using it, and have therefore repurchased.

Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief Toothpaste – I picked this up after a particularly heinous experience with whitening products that left me unable to eat due to pain – I felt this was really great with helping my teeth recover! I’ve since moved on to a similar product that has whitening properties which I love!
Biore Pore Strips – I’ve been using the ‘Ultra’ version this time around and am so impressed with the gunk that it pulls from my pores! I’ve never had pore strips work this well, these I’ll definitely be repurchasing!
Rexona Clinical Protection Deodorant – a constant repurchase, helps me stay sweat-free and smelling fresh!

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Sheet Mask – such a huge fan of these and a recent repurchase, they leave my skin feeling so soft!
Swisse Manuka Honey Detoxifying Mask – I really did enjoy using this, but I don’t think I honestly saw much difference using this with before & afters.
LonVitalite C7 Collagen & Gold Lip Mask – this was so weird to use! I’ve never used a lip mask, and personally found it difficult to keep on – I think I should have been lying down to get the full effects of the mask – definitely going to give these more tests!
Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Eye Mask* – loved these under eye masks, I’m really sad to have finally finished the packet! They are so expensive to repurchase, but definitely something on my wishlist – they leave my undereye area so refreshed and hydrated!

And that’s everything I’ve used up in August! Not as much as I’d like, but I’m getting near the end of a few products so hopefully September’s empties will be a little more interesting to share with you all!
