A couple of weeks back now I decided it was time to place a little ShopandBox order. There was a particular product I can’t get in Australia that I wanted for Christmas (you’ll see that when I get it!) and a few products I’ve had my eye on for while and I decided that the holiday season is the perfect excuse to bite the bullet !
One of my main reasons for doing this ShopandBox order was to finally satiate my curiosity surrounding Glossier makeup products and whether they’re worth the hype or not. I picked up their Balm dot Com lip balm, their Cloud Paint in Beam and their Boy Brow in Blond. I’ve had these for a couple of weeks now and will have a full review coming for you very soon!
Of course I had to get the snacks. I absolutely adore Dark Chocolate m&m’s however they aren’t available in Australia (boooo) so I picked up two giant packets that’ll get me through the next six months easily! I love them because they’re a sweet treat but something I can’t easily eat an entire packet of at once. I also received a few little snacks and samples with my order which have all disappeared into the black hole that is my stomach.
My main order was placed with Sephora during one of their VIB Rouge 20% off sales. I picked up the Stila Vivid & Vibrant Eyeshadow Duo in Kitten because I’m almost out of my normal Kitten shadow and thought this would be a fun way to replace it. I also got the BeautyBlender Sweet Surprise Mystery Blind Bag. The concept of this is that you receive a bag and inside you can receive one of 4 mystery BeautyBlender hues – my bag contained the yellow shade which is one of the rarer shades to receive but sadly not the mystery shade !
On a recent trip to the city at home I dropped by Mecca Maxima and picked up the Bare Minerals Midnight Moonbeam Lashtopia Mascara duo because it has two mascara’s for the price of one – so here’s hoping I like it !
The final thing I picked up from the US Sephora website is the Sephora Favorites Glow For It bag. We finally have access to Sephora Favorites sets here in Australia but they aren’t the same ones as the US version. This one is a beautiful highlighter set which I absolutely couldn’t not pick up! It has a miniature of the Benefit High Beam, Artist Couture Illuminati, CoverFX Moonbeam, Milk Makeup Illuminating Blur Stick and Fenty Beauty Matchstix which I am incredibly excited to try out!
And that’s everything I picked up – minus part of my Christmas present ! Short and simple but some products I’ve been eyeing off for a while and the timing was right !
That sephora favourites box looks so awesome, I’ve heard really good things about Milk makeup so I definitely need to check out that brand. x
