A Life Update.

So hey, what’s been happening? So much has been happening since we’ve last spoken!

As you now know, I’m now blogging under a different name! A new name, new site, new design and new domain. Same old me though! I’ve been wanting to make these changes for about a year now and it’s so exciting to finally see it all here!

I’ve also celebrated my two year anniversary with my boyfriend this past Monday! It’s crazy to think about everything we’ve been through over the last two years, and to know we’re still together and happy is just the best feeling! We celebrated with a few gifts and a dinner out and it was just a wonderful day really!

I also wanted to share with you a bit of Christmas joy. This happened to me at work over the weekend and I was so confused, but it completely made my day. I was just serving customers, chatting with them about Christmas shopping as I tend to do this time of the year, and made a comment about a cute stuffed toy that a guy and his daughter had. The payment all went through, they left but came back five minutes later. I was like “oh crap, did I double charge them by mistake?” (it happens) but he handed me over an identical toy and said Merry Christmas. It was just a small, sweet gesture – but the fact that he’d go and get something for a random shop assistant just made my day. Plus, I am a HUGE stuffed toy lover so I was over the moon. At Christmas time, especially in retail, you only tend to hear stories of bad service and long queues so I wanted to share this story with you – there’s some good people out there! A small gesture completely changed my attitude around and made my day – and now I have a cute little friend!

Christmas is coming and I’m feeling super organised! My gifts for other people are all wrapped and under the tree, I have all of my plans for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with family sorted – although I still haven’t figured out what I’m going to cook but hey that’s another story! I’m just excited for this time of year – and my birthday coming up too!
