Ahh, Sephora. A mystical land far, far away, with all of the Holiday sets I want and dream about! Last year, I was eyeing off the Tarte Blush Palette but hadn’t tried any of their products so didn’t want to take a huge chance, thinking I’d just see if Sephora Sydney still had any when I went in January – big mistake! This year the second it was announced, and then released I pounced, knowing I needed this in my life!
The Tarte Bling It On Amazonian Clay Blush Palette retails for $44USD, price yet to be announced for when it will be stocked in the Australian Sephora stores! With the exchange rate at the time of purchase I paid just under $60 AUD, which I think is actually a really good price! The packaging of this palette is simply adorable, as you can see! It’s a gorgeous black, glittery palette that totally reminds me of a clutch I’d take on a night out! The packaging is thin, unlike the bulky packaging from last year’s version! This palette is perfect for the indecisive traveller like myself, who wants a lot of options but doesn’t have a lot of room! The packaging is magnetic too, which I love!
Inside you open to a full sized mirror (hidden underneath the packaging as to not blind you all!) and five gorgeous shades, only one of which is permanent, the rest Limited Edition for this palette, but they have similar shades year round! Each of the shades is just the right size to dip your brush into which I love, rather than being too small and getting your brush in more than one!

Swatches Top-Bottom: Beaming, Smashing, Prim, Dollface, Fetching.
From these swatches, you can see the pigmentation. I swiped my finger lightly through each blush once and this was the colour payoff – I’m really impressed! The colours wear really nicely on the cheeks as well.
The packaging of this palette could be its undoing. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks, used it a few times and have it sitting separately to the rest of my makeup and the black packaging is damaged. It’s lost its sparkle in some places, the fabric seems to be damaged and coming off in others, and mine actually came with a pink mark on the back. (Opening it, I thought it meant my palette had smashed – thank goodness it hadn’t!)
However with that negative element, I do really recommend this palette. For the price of two Mac blushes, you get 5 incredibly pigmented, well wearing and blendable blushes in a conveniently sized palette. It also has a nice sized mirror, perfect for if you’re away from home. The product itself is fantastic, I definitely recommend it! Perfect for anyone new to blush who wants a variety, for the traveller, the blush lover, the collector – anyone really!
I have one Tarte blush and really love it. I remember lusting after their holiday palette the last two years but oddly enough I’m not that fussed about this one! The NARS one though…I need that one in my life! These are some gorgeous shades though!

I have an individual tarte blush which I love so much! I’m the other way around haha – I regret not getting last year’s NARS but it doesn’t interest me quite as much this year ! In a perfect world I could afford to buy both! haha
What an awesome little palette! You did well! The shades are great and varied. Pity about the packaging, you don’t want glitter and material going everywhere…
It’s so awesome! Versatile and travel friendly! I haven’t had glitter shedding problems, although I know some people have ! It’s a shame but at the end of the day I can just out new fabric on it if I need!
Need this in my life! I’ve got one Tarte blush in a palette and it’s so so pigmented…and I think it’ll last ages because I barely need to use any! Xo J
That’s the good thing about Tarte blushes, they really do last a long time ! You’ll be set for ages!
I’m dying for this set! Hoping Sephora Melbourne opens in time for my holiday there next month, though it would be my luck it would open the following week 😂
I only have the Tarte Tartelette palette and I’m super impressed so far with the brand!
